It's been months since Dr. Harleen Quinzel began interviewing criminals at Arkham Asylum, and she's having strange dreams about one of them in particular: The Joker. What starts off as nightmares will soon evolve into fantasies. Despite warnings from the Dark Knight himself, she's utterly fascinated by this man who seems the perfect expression of her theory; who says all the things she needs to hear; who seems to know her better than she knows herself. Harleen is a bold new reimagining of the origin of one of DC's most beloved characters, as envisioned by writer/artist Stjepan Sejic. Collects Harleen #1-3.
Despite the strongest objections from every possible authority-including district attorney Harvey Dent-Dr. Harleen Quinzel’s found herself with free access to every inmate in Arkham Asylum, where she desperately pursues a revolutionary and highly controversial cure to the insanity of Gotham. But her work with the city’s super-criminals quickly muddies the waters of good and evil, and in the deepest, darkest padded rooms of Arkham, even the words of a mad clown start making sense!
Buying decision making is a complicated process, in which a consumer’s decision is under the influence of others. The buyer’s decision making is directed in such a way that they must act as a consumer in society. Media and family are key socializing agents for adolescents. Moreover, changes in the socio-cultural environment in India necessitate that adolescents’ influence in family’s buying decision making should be investigated. In comparison to Western society, Indian society is quite different when compared in terms of family composition and structure, behavior, values and norms which impact adolescents’ buying decision making. Adolescents, Family and Consumer Behaviour studies the role of consumer socialization agents for adolescents, examining socio-economic factors that influence adolescents’ buying decision making in Indian urban families. It aims to discover the influence tactics that adolescents employ and to qualitatively analyse how marketers in turn influence adolescents. It addresses the topics with regard to strategic management and marketing and will be of interest to researchers, academics, practitioners, and students in the fields of management, entrepreneurship, small business management, and human resource management.
"Fast fashion is a phenomenon currently gripping the fashion world; it is signified by a shorter time to market and consequent more rapid consumer disposal. Insensitive fashion disposal is leading to mounting landfills and high environmental toxicity. Recycling has been gaining recognition as a viable closed-loop solution to this problem but, in reality, businesses have faced operational challenges when implementing recycling programmes. A lack of standardized policy frameworks have resulted in inconsistent processes and divergent behavior of individuals within the mechanically recycled textile supply chains including manufacturers, buyers, retailers and consumers. In addition, the mechanically recycled textiles possess limitations that are innate due to the nature of the feedstock and the mechanical processes that are involved. These are beyond the control of the supply-chain and give rise to concerns, confusions and disoriented business behavior relating to recycled textile products: recyclers are perplexed by the presence of residual chemicals, buyers and brands by a lack of standard acceptance norms for chemicals, limited colour options and batch to batch colour variation, and consumers by a lack of understanding of recycled textiles which affects their buying decisions. Supply chain-wide confusions were inhibiting the acknowledgement of mechanical recycling as a mainstream manufacturing technique. Geetanjali Woollens Pvt. Ltd. was established in 1980 as a manufacturer and exporter of woolen yarns and has acquired trust in world markets for its commitment to providing innovative, cost-effective, and environment-friendly solutions, alongside customized services. This case study unearths the limitations, concerns, and operational complexities confronted by Geetanjali and their supply-chain which relate to mechanical recycling. The case deliberates the interventions of the European Union (EU) and individuals within the supply chain when resolving operational issues by collaborative business interfaces. The way-forward for recycled textile business and the pertinent system developments (both regulatory and operational) discussed in the case can provide directions towards practical closed-loop solutions."--Bloomsbury Publishing.

There are many methods that are being invented for isolation and purification of ovalbumin form chicken egg white. Most of them are based on chromatographic techniques i.e. a metal affinity chromatography or ion exchange chromatography. The principle limitation of these methods is that chromatography is an expensive technique and the yields obtained do no justify commercialization. Hence, in this book we have tried to find a method which can be used as a replacement for chromatography and also is less complex with marked accuracy. The standard purification procedures for ovalbumin are labor intensive and difficult to mechanize due to which large-scale production of pure Ovalbumin was not feasible. The novelty of the experiments lied in the device used for dialysis i.e. "Small Wonder Lyzer," which is an easy to use patentable membrane dialyzer. With "Small Wonder Lyzer" which do not need any threads, adhesives or ultrasonic welding for membrane attachment dialysis can be done easily.

Sylvan Learning is a private tutoring institution that provides students with a personalized style of learning. They assess each of their student's particular educational needs by conducting questionnaires, and then apply the appropriate teaching styles. The results of the questionnaires suggest that many of the students are victims of both traditional face-to-face school yard bullying, and cyber bullying. As a result, the effect bullying has on students education is a major concern for this agency. This paper provides an examination of the current empirical literature on the topic of traditional face-to-face bullying, and cyber bullying. In addition, an overview of the current school policies for district 36 that deal with both face-to-face bullying, and cyber bullying are highlighted, as well as how Sylvan Learning can implement techniques to combat bullying in order to create safer, healthier learning environments.
